With all my different experience I find myself having little free time, but when I do I like to work on personal projects that interest me. These projects range from game design, photography, and even some coding. I find that these projects help me to stay creative and keep my skills sharp.
As a challenge I decided to code a personal portfolio website from scratch using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. This project allowed me to showcase my skills in web development and design, while also providing a platform to display my work and personal projects.
As a part of my Senior Year, I was tasked with creating a logo for the West Allegheny Accelerate program. This program is designed to help students who are interested in pursuing a career in High School to accelerate their future. The team and I were able to create a logo that represents the program and its goals.
As a part of my final year at Michigan State University, I joined a capstone course where we formed teams, pitched ideas, and developed full games over the semester. My team and I created Lane Casters, a magical spin on classic bowling that I am very proud to show off.
This project pushed me and challenged me to grow not only as a developer, but as a collaborator. During this project I had to learn a new engine in it's entirety to suit the teams needs. It was definitely not an easy task but, it was one of the most rewarding experiences of my college career.
I am very excited to officially add Lane Casters to my portfolio. Try it for yourself and let me know what you think!
What started as a company idea in my Sophomore Year of High School, turned into a passion project in my Senior Year that I plan to continue at some point in the future. CRML Inc. is a company that I started with the goal of originally creating an app but then we made it our Senior game design project. I was Project Manager and Director of Marketing. The way I made us different is as soon as we started I created the logo (seen above) and then created a bunch of merch. People around the school were buying it and wearing it and we became a school wide brand. Not just a game design company but a brand. After a few semi-famous TikToks and other posts, we ultimately had the best marketing numbers and shocked not only my teacher but the judges that came in from Simcoach Games. They ended up offering me an internship because of it and I couldn't have been happier!
Currently, CRML Inc. hasn't had much activity since 2023 but one day I will restore it to it's former glory. Look out for CRML Inc in the future, if you see the name you'll know who is behind it.
